Effective Date: July 21, 2026 Welcome to ShrtCrust Bakery. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your purchases through our Fygaro e-commerce store. By accessing our site and placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before finalizing your purchase. 1. Our Products & Customization -Made-to-Order Perishables: All our pastries, mini cakes, and other baked goods are perishable and baked fresh specifically to order. -Standard Menu Only: We operate strictly as an online bakery and do not accept custom or off-menu orders at this time. Customers may choose from the items currently available on our  storefront. -Eggless Options: Where available, customers have the opportunity to select or specify an "eggless option" at checkout. We will prepare your items based strictly on the checkout selections confirmed. 2. Order Pick-Up Only -No Delivery: ShrtCrust Bakery currently operates on a pick-up only basis. We do not offer local delivery or shipping at this time. -Pick-Up Coordination: It is the customer's responsibility to collect their order at the designated pick-up location and time specified. 3. Payment - All orders must be paid in full through our secure Fygaro payment gateway at the time of checkout. Orders will not be prepared or baked until full payment is confirmed. 4. Refund & Cancellation Policy Because our products are perishable and baked down to the exact ounce based on your order confirmation, we enforce strict guidelines to keep our kitchen running smoothly: A. Order Cancellations & Associated Fees - Before the Cut-Off (On or before Thursday at 6:00 PM): You are entitled to a full cash refund, minus a 10% service and administration fee. -After the Cut-Off (After Thursday at 6:00 PM): Orders are strictly non-refundable. After this deadline, funds have already been spent to source ingredients and prepare your specific doughs and fillings. B. Damaged Items & Verification Policy We want your pastries to arrive home in pristine condition. To protect yourself, please adhere to our strict verification policy at the time of collection: - Mandatory Inspection: You must inspect the contents of your pastry boxes immediately upon picking them up or upon receipt from your third-party courier (when applicable). -Reporting Window: If any items sustained damage during transit or handover (e.g., a smashed mini cake), you must send photo proof via WhatsApp to our team within 10 minutes of collection. -Resolution Choices: If verified photo proof is provided within the 10-minute window, you can choose one of the following: i. A full refund for the damaged item(s). ii. Store credit toward a future purchase. iii. A replacement order delivered or prepared for collection on the following Saturday. C. Wrong or Missing Items - Reporting Window: If you receive an incorrect item (e.g., you ordered chicken patties but received veggie patties) or find an item missing, please send us a WhatsApp confirmation with a photo within 30 minutes of receipt. - Resolution: We will gladly bake and replace the incorrect or missing item free of charge on your very next order. D. Taste Preferences We bake using real ingredients and utilize our local fruits, vegetables and other ingredients for our sweet and savory fillings. Because taste is highly subjective, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credit if you simply do not like the personal flavor profile of a pastry (e.g., finding a pineapple tart too sweet or a quiche too salty). 5. Allergen Warning - Please be advised that our kitchen processes common allergens. - A specific "contains" statement detailing allergens (such as wheat, soy, mustard, dairy, or eggs) will appear clearly in the product description of each individual baked good on our storefront. - It is the customer's responsibility to read these descriptions carefully before purchasing if they have dietary restrictions or severe allergies. 6. Limitation of Liability ShrtCrust Bakery is not liable for any illness, allergic reactions, or adverse health effects resulting from the consumption of our products if the allergens were disclosed on the product description, or if the customer failed to request the available eggless option. We are also not liable for the degradation of food quality due to late customer pick-ups. 7. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Continued use of our site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes. 8.
